Scott B. Scouten, Audit Principal -
Scott serves as head of the Firm's audit division. He has 20 years of experience conducting and supervising audits, reviews, compilations, consulting, agreed-upon procedures and other services for manufacturers, healthcare, non-profit, commercial services, real estate, construction, franchisees, government, utilities and other organizations. Scott has obtained a certificate of educational achievement in Governmental and Non-Profit Accounting and Auditing from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has been designated as a Certified Governmental Financial Manager (CGFM). Scott is experienced in designing and performing attestation and agreed-upon procedure services, as well as bankruptcy, internal control and accounting system assessment, and fraud investigations.
Scott is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Governmental Accountants. He is past president of the Chattanooga Exchange Club and past chairman of the American Cancer Society Trades and Industry Division, as well as serving on the Cancer Society's Board of Directors.
Gloria S. McConnell, Tax Principal -
Gloria leads the Firm's tax division. She has 20 years of experience in tax consulting with professional corporations, manufacturing, franchisees, healthcare and tax exempt organizations, as well as individuals. Gloria also works extensively with clients on employee benefit and retirement plans. Prior to entering the accounting field, Gloria worked in the banking industry for several years.
Gloria is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, Chattanooga Tax Practitioners, the Chattanooga Estate Planning Council, National Association of Women Business Owners and Scenic City Women's Network. She is active in many community organizations.
